Yeah, since webtop finally was out of beta on the leak .203 with a build date of May 13, the ota would have been mid June......if 203 was to be pushed. With 204 and now 206 showing up later, who knows. But it takes about a month for a build to get through the approval process to be pushed out officially.

Well they could do a ninja like they did last update and just throw it at us. And testing is just soaking and that could only last a day if they choose to do so. Not extremely unlikely for them to just push it out. And if you want to you could think the form leaked was legit considering the thunderbolt was pushed at exact date of the form and the resound was supossed to but they pushed it back.
Testing is so much more than just the soak test. Do some research before you post. After "development", a build must be decided on to be a "release candidate". At this point, the "release candidate" is tested at three levels. First, Motorola does a bit of internal testing to make sure such things as transmit power fall within FCC guidelines. At that point, the build is sent to the carrier for approval on their network. If the carrier approves of the "release candidate", it is then soak tested - which is basically a test of how the OTA performs in the real world. If anything goes wrong at any point in these three test phases, the "release candidate" build is scrapped, and it's back to the drawing board.
Show me a souce where Motorola EVER gave an exact release date for ICS. Because Motorola simply doesn't do that. I believe that GOOGLE made a statement at one point that they'd LIKE devices to be upgraded to ICS by the first of the year. But we can all see how many device manufacturers actually listened to THAT "suggestion".
You mean the completely outdated pic from April that was never meant for the public to see? I'm pretty sure the ICS schedule that Moto just published a few days ago supercedes anything that old document says.

Exactly. Motorola only promised the RAZR would get ics. For the longest time every moto schedule showed it was in the "planning" stage. It wasn't until very recently that Motorola officially announced the razr would get it Q2 which is as close to a confirmed date as you will get from them.

Maybe that is part of their internal testing. Back when 173 was leaked, there were subsequent leaks like 174 and 177 before 173 was officially released. So, perhaps 203 will be official.
Until the day comes, it is all speculation.

Everyone need to stop complaining about Motorola. They do not have a say on what is passed to us big red has to approve everything that happens to our devices. Not like they can just do stuff with our devices and Verizon just allows it several steps have to be taken before they push stuff to us and the last step is through Verizon ..
