ICS tomorrow plz

Yeah time will tell :-) I with my usage patterns iPhone and maxx both get me through a day and night on one charge thank God, something that other phones required a $60 battery to do hehe. The next iPhone could have a giant battery similar to what they did with the ipad3. Either way I for one can't wait to see the next iPhone, and the best part is they come out at the same time every year so I don't have to deal with self imposed "wonder" of when the next hot phone will come out :-)

The timeline on that screen shot seems pretty tight from 21st thru 25th. After tomorrow I'm going to call Verizon and add some complaints to the list. Not sure what it may help but saying nothing won't do anything to get it.

Here's a quote from my dad.

"Closed mouths don't get fed."

It's funny when they say Q2 2012 and it'll probably end up being "Late Q2 2012" yet they have the stones to say "Early Q3 2012" for something else. What's "early" mean, only a few months into Q3 instead of the end?

Verizon is holding out because there are to many leaks on the internet.

Verizon is holding out because there are to many leaks on the internet.

I thought it was coming in 10-14 days, less than 2 weeks, no later than the end of next week, or that Verizon is "holding to their guns" for a release this week, and that there are supporting documents for all of that.

But honestly, how would "too many leaks on the internet" hold back the release if the release is ready? If Verizon was worried about the leaks, wouldn't they want their official release out there to try to prevent further installations of the leaks? The number of leaks floating around the internet wouldn't prevent the release of a final build. If it did anything, it would expedite the release.

At this point, anything beyond the Q2 on the Motorola page is all rumor and speculation, and even that isn't set in stone. These releases are fluid, and they constantly change. Don't put any stock in a supposed release date unless it's come directly from Verizon or Motorola...and even then take it with a grain of salt.

The global support is already in the last leak, so they don't need to add that in. And again, it makes no sense to refuse to release it as a "slap on the hand" to those few who have the leak. If anyone deserves a slap on the hand for the leaks, it's whoever at Moto that's in charge of preventing access to where builds are stored...but of course, what better way to test out some preliminary software than to let it get "leaked" from your servers...

If today was ever a serious release date, a soak test would have been conducted one to two weeks ago. Maybe today was a target release date a good while back, but it clearly hasn't been for a few weeks. So, yet again, everything is just hearsay and rumors.
