Is anyone the tiniest bit jealous of the iPhone 4s?

Actually they are successful for only one reason. They're the best advertising company on the planet, they put their products in every movie or tv show you ever see.

A PC can do everything and so much more than a Mac and does it for a hell of a lot cheaper. They use the same hardware as PC's, so they do not last longer, they do not run better, they simply lock you into using only their software. Just like android vs IOS, a PC lets you do what YOU want, a Mac does only what Apple wants you to do.

The sad fact is, most people are ignorant of any products they're buying and they see Apple's products in movies and tv shows and say, hey I want that and they buy it.

It's the goof of all time, but a genius plan by Apple, you can't hate them for doing what works, it's just sad that the public is so feeble minded.

This post is plagued with bias. I use both a Mac and a PC - an Android phone and an iPod Touch. Apple products are not popular simply because of advertising. Sorry - It just doesn't work like that. Nothing is that cut and dry. If they didn't work well, satisfaction rates would tank and people would learn to steer clear.

Apple products are incredible because they work well and are beautifully designed. Show me a PC that looks as good as an iMac. Seriously. Part of the price is the aesthetic. They work well AND they look good. That's what you pay for. If you don't want to pay that much, you obviously have alternatives in the personal computing market, but you can't make claims like that when reviews of Apple products are consistently so good. Bad products do not turn into blockbuster cash cows. Apple has not had a flop in a very long time.

Downloading porn apps is a bit much though. I prefer actual physical contact.

While it isnt as ground breaking as the ip4 was, I still think this sounds like a great phone and will be seriously considered when it is time to upgrade my D1. Other than 4G, they cleaned up the few things they needed to get me interested (dual core and notifications). The camera is just amazing and icing on the cake. Also anyone who just compares cameras by Mp is missing the picture (yes pun intended)

I'm seriously considering giving the iPhone a try as well. With Verizon's return policy, I can always return it for something else. I've always been Android all the way, but what's the first thing I do when I get a new phone? Root it. Why do we do this? Because the phone isn't good enough out of the box. I want to give the iPhone a chance to be my "just works, right out of the box" phone. Besides, we can't rightfully hate on something we've never tried.

^Of my two friends with iphone 4's, one of them has had a bunch of problems and bugs. His bricked and with no battery pull option, he had to bring it in. There is still no guarantee that it will just work right out of the box.

A Mac vs. a PC from Dell, Gateway, HP, etc...I believe a Mac is better. A Mac vs. a custom built PC? Either one you build yourself or use a company like CyberPowerPC? I think that custom PC is better...if you know what you're doing . Either that custom PC will be better for less or for the same price as that Mac is will be alot better. PC's from places like Dell and etc fall short at the motherboard and power supply. Those 2 things can kill a PC for stability, reliability.

^ I built my own pc. Paid $290 for my mobo (the guy at the checkout counter had stars in his eyes when I brought it up to pay!) and dropped $100 on a 750w ps. I'd put my quad core rig up against anything Mac!

I would agree with that, when it comes to computers I am not nearly as versed as I am with my phone but my brother is a giant computer nerd and he has always built his own comps and they are really impressive machines. Like I said, IMO, out of box experience seems to favor Mac.

Ppl r saying not till spring but in store today u can pre order one Friday and have it on a few weeks and how is Sprint and ATT geting 4G and not Verizon and ppl are all like the cam is the best u can get but on my Droid I have a 8 meg cam same as new I phone and I'm Android 4 life I will never go to Apple no matter what

First make no mistake, Sprint and Att are far from 4g. Even Verizon isn't true 4g.

Second, the lte radio built by qualcom. It's a chip set that at present is too thick for iphone purists. You won't see lte until iphone 5 next fall. By then qualcom will have a far thinner chip set that iphone purists will not reject.

Iphone from non Verizon carriers are not equipped with a hardware 4g lte radio.
