We are on a mission and we are going to get this thing working for you! If our team work doesn't do it, then it we will give up and agree that maybe you need another phone but I think we will be successful!

No, I don't think you need to do fastboot or fdr... you have done that already twice so you should be good. Otherwise I would definitely be saying yes.

I agree! No nexus for you!

I was getting miserable battery life after the update. I used Matt's utility to fastboot .211, essentially giving me a clean install of ICS. Battery life greatly improved. Maybe not as good a GB, but substantially better. I am back to getting 4-5hrs screen time out of a single charge.

Garemlin, are you still on .211 or did you intall the .215 leak? There are a lot of people that said it improved their battery life and performance quite a bit. Mine was running great before .215 so I didn't notice much difference between the two.

Still on .211. Never been one for installing leaks. Did a few times with my DX and always ran into issues. I can wait it out.

I agree with you garemlin... if its working then why fix it. I did the .215 because I was rooting anyway. There were just a few more annoying bloatware apps that I wanted to get rid of that I couldn't freeze.

ok so it charged to 100%, got all tips on, 3g, battery saver on smart actions, auto brightness, all 4g, wifi, bt, and gps off. will let it run down to 10% then fully charge. i will take screenshots a few hrs in and show u guys, on the badass battery app or whatever the new name is, it shows 21.4% of power used by apps.

I'm lazy. I have not got around to freezing or uninstalling any boost yet. LOL

That was one of the FIRST things I did ... especially the updater. I won't get an OTA unless I WANT to get an OTA LOL :D
