You guys are worse than my kids waiting for Christmas ..... pick up the box .... shake it around .... wonder what it could be .... try to peek under the paper .... shake it some more .... could be this .... could be that .... start fighting with each other over what's actually in the box ....

My only concern with all this is that I decided to be impatient and do .8.894... and it has a different kernel/radio than any of the .893's... Maybe the OTA will come out and be usable no matter what the previous version.
Jnt were there any benifits in flashing 894 besides camera?
none that I can see - I can't even really tell if the data is any better than .893... I get no data drops, but do switch between 4G/3G often... while my Rezound holds 4G consistently almost all the time. Maybe .893 was better on data, but I don't really remember as I wasn't on it long.
So you got the Rezound been holding off til?l Gnex drops. I have aTB with no problems.Are you good with the Rezound?

Rezound is a great device, but it's a whole different experience from the Bionic, so some will love it, some won't. I DO love how consistent it holds data...
I've read and chatted with a few people that said the data won't be any better on the Gnex than the Bionic or Razr, so I'm hesitant...

I love the Bionic honestly. The only thing that has me holding onto the Rezound is the data. And my Bionic has not been bad, it rarely drops, just switches to 3G more than it should. That said, my Rezound is the one up for sale right now on Swappa, not my Bionic, so at any moment it could be gone. Though a part of that is b/c I still have Best Buy's buyback for 50% of retail on the Bionic, which is about what I'd get by selling it outright anyway (if not a bit more).
Had the Bionic come out with few to no bugs, I think it would still be mentioned in the same sentence with the Razr, Gnex, and Rezound. But unfortunately that's not the case. But I still think it should be included in conversations about those phones... it's not like the Bionic is behind specwise, and is better in some areas, than each one. But it's gotten a really bad rep and bad publicity.
Honestly I'm so sick of LTE and it's issues I've been tempted to dump them all and go back to a Dinc2 or D3 or something like that where data is uber reliable and consistent... but we'll see if that ever happens.
