[KERNEL] Kernel (deprimed_test) - Break It If You Can

I have loved this kernel since the very beginning. However, I have moved past CM7 a while ago.

It seems like on every ROM I use this kernel on, I get massive screen wake lag..like taking 5-6 seconds to unlock the screen. Many other users have reported this as well.

Any ideas? I really would love to go back to this kernel.

Try bit.ly/deprimed_previous. Are you using bumblebee governor?

Yes and swap (compcache) is in CM performance settings.

Ditto. I have always heard a lot of great things about Deprimed, but aside from CM, it doesn't seem to work well w/ other ROMS. I tried the previous one (minus BFS) and it was worse. I especially notice it when I play music. The songs are choppy and there is major lag. I have tried it on LGB, Cush, BB, Steel Droid, and SS. Chevy's work much better for me.

Which governor are you using? My phone hates interactive and bumblebee. On Demand governor works best for my device. Give that a shot if you haven't yet.

I've tried bumblebee and OD. Problems w/ both.

Currently using the latest kernel with latest MIUI rom. For me working great, no lag what so ever. Also experiencing music skips and stuttering, making it almost impossible to listen to music on phone but don't believe kernel related as have had trouble in past. I believe it is ROM, music player, and lack of RAM on og Droid related.

I tried all 3 major govs (Bumblebee, OnDemand and Interactive) with all 3 of the current kernels(previous, current and the update). All of them have this screen-wake lag. I am currently using Liquid Gingerbread but have noticed this on most ROMs aside from straight up CM7.

I really hope we can narrow down what this is because this is an amazing kernel by the best kernel developer around.

To be honest, the only two ROMs I have been using lately are Liquid Gingerbread(3.0 to 3.2) and Pete's GPA19. I didn't notice much of a difference in the lag between the two. Noticed users reported the same issue on both ROMs.
