[KERNEL] Kernel (deprimed_test) - Break It If You Can

So....should it have been necessary for me to have to add the 11link2sd file back in? Or should prime's script taken care of everything for me?

I haven't used prime's latest creation, so can't answer that.
But whenever I flash a nightly for example, that installs kernel again that I don't use.
I will then flash the kernel I want and just let link app re setup the script.
Reboot and everything is back and linked.

A new thing I am trying is copying the data/app files that are just the links onto my sd, not wiping the ext, flashing new ROM, letting link app run script.
Reboot, make sure ext mounts by opening data/ext2 and seeing if the apps appear if not hot reboot, then recopy the data/app link files back, reboot and see if that will relink everything rather than setting it all up one app at a time.

@Godfather
I had the same issue - boot twice before the SDEXT is recognized. I removed the SDCARD speed increase i had then flashed Prime's script. As usual - it work like a champ! first boot and everything came up as it is supposed to.

I also installed CPU Tuner and this Droid has never run so good. This setup is my new baseline.

@Sbenson the 11link2sd is removed and not needed when you use Prime's script. He replaces it with 05linkext, 20sdcache (SD Card speed increase).

That's what I thought it was supposed to do. Didn't work though. I'll try removing 11link2sd again, reboot twice and see if it works after that.

I hadn't even seen Prime's new link2sd script all the way down in post #3. I just meant that when I used update_deprimed to update the kernel the link2sd apps didn't show up on the first boot (but did work after rebooting). My 11link2sd script was not erased by updating the kernel. I think I'll back up the 11link2sd script, delete it and try out prime's script now. I'm a little confused though as it says it mounts ext2/3/4 with the ext4 driver, what does that mean exactly? I thought there were different modules for ext2 and ext3? Should I repartition to ext4? Will there be any noticeable improvement in performance using ext4 instead of ext3?

FAT partition not accessable with USB

I set up Link2SD and everything works great except when I try to access my SD card through USB. When I enable USB storage, all appears normal. Apps linked on my SD card still run, but my PC does not recognize the FAT32 partition on my SD card. Any ideas?

Thanks,
PAJ

Update: Just a driver issue. This happened on my work PC and God forbid I have installed anything that is not approved. Drivers were uninstalled by big brother. Back now and all is fine...

I left my partition ext3 and it worked fine. Did you flash that zip?

Sbenson, I flashed Prime's zip, no problem here. I have ext2. The ext4 driver will work with any ext partition, Godfather.

Prime,
The flashable zip went perfect. My phone freaking flies. One thing though, upon a recent boot (second after install) my phone took like 15 minutes to boot. Will the large amount of files on the partition cause slower reboots as they all get fired up during boot?

I took the 11link2sd file back out of the ect/init.d folder and rebooted, now prime's script seems to be doing it's job, kinda.

Before I ran this script, I had no problems and link2sd worked everytime, after every boot.

Now, post-script it's completely random. Sometimes I'll have to reboot multiple times to get the links to work. I know the 11link2sd file had a sleep command, would it plausible that I would need to add this to prime's script?
