The new kernel reads some stuff from the eFuse to determine what frequencies to enable. If some people see 1.2ghz and other don't it's probably because only some of the chips were rated for 1.2ghz. So not overclocked, just moto had all devices clocked to 1ghz.

I don't think it will be much longer. Things have progressed faster than I thought. I would be more worried about the battery getting straight, but its not bad now.

Seeing as how we now have sound, the only things that are preventing me from flashing are camera and battery. I'm excited about this.

I would expect that once a stable kernel is released we'll be seeing all sorts of OC / tweaked kernel builds pop up.

For me tho, I usually keep as close to stock as I can so that devs have a good clean base.

You guys are amazing! THANK YOU for supporting this phone that Motorola/Verizon dumped! As someone above said, as soon as the camera works, I can't wait to install this ROM. I have Maverick installed that everyone raves about, but its just plain ugly and for me it sucks down my battery in less than 6 hrs. (I could get to 9 or so on stock and even more when I had installed CM9 test pre- "Kexec".)

Can't wait for an ice cream sandwich, or will it be right to Jelly Bean? Either way I'm SO EXCITED. THANK ALL OF THE DEVELOPERS/HACKERS for supporting this phone!

They're in alphabetical order...most are guessing key lime pie....not alot of deserts starting with K.

If Hash makes a SafeStrap for the DX, then it's possible. Otherwise, I wouldn't think so.

K...is safestrap the only way to flash kexec kernel? Would it possible to flash this over stock to make it the nonsafe system? It really bothers me that I have a stock vzw rom anywhere near my phone!!!
