Same thing happened to me. You should clear cache & data by: M+Power Button in the beginning > Scroll down to Recovery Mode > Click both volume buttons simultaneously > You know what to do after this.

Actually, I might not. It might be obvious when I go to do it but all the instruction I've ever found for working with customs ROMs has been vague. Perhaps I can start keeping notes of what I do right/wrong to help with documentation. That would be more constructive than me complaining.

I'm trying to locate the change log for this particular train of code. I found this one:

But it doesn't appear to a) be up to date or b) include the kexec train. Perhaps in the source code listings?

Just a side note today: I've fixed the download links in the OP. No new builds out (yet).

Also, I've been working with DHacker to restructure our hosting / downloads site: rombot.org (formerly rombot.droidhive.com)

The goal was for stability and added features.
- Downloads at: Directory index · styled with h5ai
- Bugtracker (in progress) at: Bugzilla Main Page
- (Needs fixing) Gitweb tracker for the Android source projects we work on
- Basic support forums for the devices that I work on
- And eventually I'll be migrating my blog postings over to rombot.org as well.

FYI: I will also continue to maintain the threads here at XDA and other active Droid 3 websites.

works for me. site was getting slammed, tho. Photon only phone on the list. Also saw where df talked to VZW and they claim they will take your phone off the network if you unlock it. LOL

Although I highly doubt Moto will unlock the D3. If they do, we'll have JB in no time thanks to people like Hashcode. If that
happens we dont buy new phones.
