Morning all!
I am currently sitting in the parking lot of my local gas station right down the road from a hostage situation in our quiet little town.
A super 8 motel of course.
Man was served warrant at 7am and apparently did not want to go, he responded with a shot through the door.
2 women inside with me and he has informed police no one was getting out alive.
So, fun times.

I put some coconut oil in my coffee, half and half and 1/4 tsp of Kerry gold butter... Rich and creamy and tasty! Let's see how much energy I get...I used Seattle's best hazelnut coffee as the base. I could get used to this... But it has to be once in a while because of the cholesterol!

Thank you friend. Schools are on lock down. Everyone is freaking out because bomb squad is there. Though I believe bomb squad is called in regardless for safety reasons.
It is sad. One of my very, very good friends is a deputy sherrif. Like, the biggest, tallest most gentle giant you will ever know. I worked 3rd shift at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Literally, I was miles from nearest town in any direction.
In 3 years of seeing the same people drive through your parking lot just to check on you, you get attached.
Gets me emotional just thinking about it. I know I am a softy but I don't care. They and he was there to protect me. And I know they would have taken a bullet for me.
Several months ago Randall was on a routine call, serving papers to a man who was mentally unstable. The papers were to actually inform him he was to be hospitalized.
The man shot Randall in the chest.
There is little to no respect for law enforcement anymore. That saddens me. They are humans just like us.

So many sad things happening in large and small towns all over the country and the world. It's time for a change for sure! We love our police officers in my town and in our area and we make sure they know they have our respect and our love for all the hard work they do day in and day out!
