By suspicious I meant that it was the update file. I never contemplated whether you had messed with it, I figured someone ELSE may have but as with downloading anything over the internet you never know who may have played with it. I'm cautious like that. I've seen you in the forums and I take anything you say as gospel. That's where I found the MD5. The link I previously used was from earlier in this thread and I didn't think it was provided by you, so I wasn't sure if I should trust it.
I think the reason why I didn't find the thread initially was because I figured I could ignore a thread titled "Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss". If it had said "SamuriHL's homepage" I would have clicked it
SamuriHL, if you thought any of my comments about the reliability of information or files was directed at you, I ask for your humble forgiveness. You've performed magic in this forum. I just wish I knew you personally because I'd love to watch you work and pick your brain with all of my questions.
No I didn't take it like that. I just wanted to reassure you that the files are untampered with. This is why I post the MD5 hashes. Attempting to flash a corrupt file won't work and if you get as far as doing the RSD flash it could leave you in a brick scenario if the update is corrupt. I take that very seriously. So much so that I worked with some people to develop a hashing solution when we push the update to ensure that it copied correctly during the push option. As for the title of. Y thread, yea it started out that far back as a very simple motofastboot script and evolved into the current product over many weeks. But I can't change the thread title so that's what we have.
