Leaked FRG22 Update Available for Rooted Droid 1

I read throught the thread...but not sure if this queston was answered....

I am rooted and running SS 4.6

If I load the new FRG22 will it erase SS 4.6?

or I just can load FRG22 and be good to go?

With the Quick boot app it is just so easy to install. If you haven't got that app, give it a try. No fooling around with the keyboard, 1 touch into SPRecovery.

If you load FRG22 it will blow away all themes and ROM specific apps (apps loaded in /system/ and not /data/) and settings and give you a stock experience.

That's a big assumption jdp, anyone worth rooting should already know you take a risk with any loading of any update/rom.

We do not know if vs did or did not use this because of this issue. I'm certain that the ota build was locked in for PTA at least a week ago, this is an ongoing thing, its always being tweaked, and our Dec community will likely figure it out.

That said, could kernal choice cause this? (IMO no)

I was keeping up with all the commotion while at work last night, finally saw this build pop up and thought "I want this now". Downloaded the build with my Droid at one break and applied at the last break, everything went with out a hitch. Thanks Cellzealot and P3Droid.

If you click on the first link (original) it says downloading deodexed. So I think they all are deodexed.

My understanding of it is when it is deodexed it makes it rooted and ready for custom rom installment. Beyond that, I don't know.

I do know that I think this word was recently invented because it keeps coming up on my spell check.

Hook, first two downloads in the OP (direct and mirror) are deodexed. Third is non-deodexed. I go with "non", for totally superstitious "keep-me-as-close-to-source-as possible" reasons!

Not sure how or why but i had to deodex it to get it to work correctly for me as well.
