LexLite Gingeraid 4.2 has been released

How exactly do you install this?

his directions seem kind of vague... I followed exactly what he said and i am currently bootlooping?

does anyone know the exact steps?

Try this, (had to do this on one of squidleys roms)

Boot into clockwork
Wipe data factory reset
Install lexlight
Install porter
Boot into stock recovery before the initial boot into the rom
Wipe data factory there
Boot into rom
Let all of your apps install
Boot into clockwork
Install lexlight without wiping
Install porter again without wiping

It's a long process but it should work.

this is how i got 4.1 to work. i'm about to do 4.2e and will see how it goes/is.

Round 1 - FIGHT!
sbf, root, cwm, wipe cache/wipe data, gbdeodex, wipe data, reboot system recovery, wipe cache, wipe data, reboot, cwm, wipe data, install 4.2e, install port, reboot, bootloop with the droid X boot image (weird)

Round 2 - FIGHT!!
sbf, root, cwm, gbdeodex, cwm, wipe data, install 4.2e, install port, booted.

dancedroid

i'll test video and report any other issues once i get everything set back up (apps, accounts, settings, screens, etc).

video and sound work for videos in browser - tested at m.youtube.com
one issue noticed: conversation.apk was left in \system\app so rename it to conversation.bak to stop duplicate sms

terminal emulator > su > roottools symlin -rt > eri > changed to what i want
reboot
non-stop force closes
boot into recovery
wipe cache
wipe data
droid x boot logo boot loop
sbf :( will try again later

I have gotten this to run on my d2 and the only problem i have found is my blue tooth isn't working. Other than that this rom is pretty sweet.

I have been having issues with this as well, did the sbf, root, bootstrap, load gb, cwm, bootstrap, clockwork install gingeraid to boot loop 3 times already. I did get the stock android recovery to come up (after pushing all the hards buttons in different combinations) by pushing volume down and home while powering on, then both volume buttons to show the menu options. Tried a reset and cache wipe from there....and still bootlooping. So now, I'm stuck at work with a bootlooping phone. :icon_evil: I think I am officially giving up on this rom.

Edit: I just noticed that my profile still says I have an OG Droid, but I actually have an X
