Liberty 2.0 works with v7 romer

Back to stock. Gonna try again in a while. Liberty zip will stay put. Then just delete the folder that comes w the rom right? Uncheck auto updates. Then reboot.

I can get liberty 2.0.1 running smoothly using patchofpatch but than when I attempt to install liberated hc theme everything goes to hell.

Steps I took:
renamed original liberty folder to liberty1, placed new liberty folder on root w patchofthepatch in downloads.
wiped data and cache, installed liberty2.0zip, installed grdromerv7, rebooted.
installed libertytoolbox from marketplace disabled updates.
rebooted to make sure everything still working and it was.
I than moved my liberated_hc_2.0.zip into the theme folder
than installed bootstrap again, rebooted into the recovery, mounted system, wiped cache and dalvik.
installed liberated_hc_2.0.zip and than installed the romerv7 again.

Keeps freezing, bootlooping and all in all acting bizarre. Maybe someone knows where i went wrong? been freakin flashing and on forums all day trying to get it to work!

Thanks for the awesome work from everyone to get liberty working on the global!

I know where it got messed up.... you do not need to flash the romer after you flash a theme... it is only supposed to be flashed once when you flash the liberty or any rom specific for D2... just flash the liberty again and romer you probably do not to wipe anything and then flash any theme and you should be good..... Enjoy.....

Charge Light

Ok so what i did is changed the file on my SD card, under Liberty/downloads to prevent it from downloading the updated and applying it.

So this is what you have to do is go to your SD card and delete a folder called liberty. Unzip the folder into the root of your sd Card from attachments on this post. then..

Bootstrap into recovery and preform wipe..install of liberty 2.0.1 is the file i used, then romer, restart phone. When the phone restarts download Liberty toolbox then go to liberty setting uncheck updates.

to make sure it works check the folder before restarting it and the patch of the patch should 1.60 kB not 1.62. it has worked for me with 15 reboots Good luck i hope i have helped.

Not 100% positive but I do believe that when I did this 3G fix I got my charge light back. Thought the others with the D2Gs might like to know this.

Id never noticed having a charge light before..but now I have one,

Questiion. I noticed there was a Liberty market update/DX forum/ and wondered if the same applies to D2, if so, does the patch protect us? Also, if I were to put Liberty on someone elses d2g tonight...with the patch, would that new update squeak by before I can disable autoupdates.
...I worry too much

When I flashed 2.0.1 on my D2G the second time to do the 3G fix I had plenty of time to turn the auto update off before the new update got through. I reflashed mine just a matter of a few days ago.

First of all thanks to everyone for posting problems and solutions.

This might be a dumb question but does bluetooth not work with Liberty 2.0.1.

When I try to enable it is says Turning on but never indicates that it is actually on...

Thanks in advance,

trigger
