Liberty Gingerbread Official Bug Reports

1) Reboots a lot! almost every time I plug it in, and randomly-often I'll see the gps icon right before the crash.

2) swype kind of odd, have to force it to spell correctly, guesses odd non-words

3) LED notifications odd-not consistent, doesn't work with handcent at all

4) No share function in gallery for photos

5) settings/application still not working

6)overclock-auto calibrate won't go higher than 1009 ??? virtually no overclock, quadrant scores no where near as good as Liberty 2 for me

all in all I really like it, hope these things get sorted soon

The only issue I have had is that when I am using google listen or connected music player they will FC on occasion. I will not get an error the sound will just stop and and I will have to re-open the program. Not a huge deal.

wiped data/cache and factory reset to v.3 and i seem to have lost swype...everything else seems great! anyone know how i can get swype back?

I had same issue with toolbox earlier this morning followed by several fc's...I uninstalled and reinstalled it from the Market and no more probs after that..worked for me and hope helps yours as well.

Not sure if this was mentioned but I noticed that when I get phone calls, my headphones no longer work. I'll be listening to poweramp or mixzing and i'll receive a phone call, after ending the call the music no longer works until I restart my phone.

Swype gets installed in data on your first flash of Libery. If you wiped data between .1 and .3, you lost swype (as it was an incremental update, not full). You'll need to pull the swype.apk from the .1 zip and use terminal to pm install it

I'm now on v.3, but even under v.1 my WiFi connection comes up, works for a very short time, then I get "can't connect" ... everywhere: market, browser, email, etc....

Anyway ideas?

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Someone else suggested using a diff encrypt scheme on my home router, but i can only select "TKIP or AES" ... I can't just select TKIP!

My LINKSYS router won't let me change to TKIP explicitly... It's on AES OR TKIP ... that's the only selection I have!

Dam ... If I could get WiFi stable, I'd be a happy boy...

Went to GB 2.0.1 but had to SBf back to froyo, now when I try to change the theme it just gets stuck at boot loop. I can only get back to normal when I restore. Help....I paid $5 for Liberty and I cant use it.

I had a similar problem of bootlooping when I SBF'd from GB to Froyo. I just booted into regular recovery (not ClockworkMod recovery) and wiped cache/factory reset. That solved my problem.

Tethering Doesn't Work

Hello,

None of the apps I use for tethering work. I have tried Barnacle and Wireless Tether. I thing the Blurred 3g mobile hotspot could be getting in the way. If there is something I need to do please tell me.

LOL maybe i did this to myself but i tried to use Ninjamorph and change the unlock icon i was able to do. The problem was i got gmail,bluetooh, and some other errores when i restared i had to sbf back and now going back. I was also wondering do i have to redownload the v1 again or is it saved on my sd card some were.
