Liberty ROM - v. 2.0

So... how would I go about going from apex to this through the toolbox?

If you open the toolbox it will know you aren't on current liberty rom. You can then press a button to download the rom. Once downloaded it will ask you if you want to backup and/or wipe data. After you confirm your install it will boot you into clockwork recovery and install it for you.

Liberty 3.0 = GINGERBREAD!! I so want to go to GB, what I hear about it is awesome, but I'm so happy with my Liberty 1.5, and am going to 2.0. SBF'ing back and forth between the two is nonsense, and I cant nandroid between them either!

Donating to help expedite the Gingerbread version of Liberty - heck, I'm completely wiling to brick my phone to help to get it done!

After I get 2.0 finished I will work on some gingerbread love ;)

Same issue, went through that process, still force closing on liberty settings under settings.
Did you wipe data / factory reset?

I get the same thing. In the toolbox it has the option to wipe and install the theme. I checked both and it went into clockwork and installed the rom. Everytime I try to open liberty settings it forcecloses. Should I do a wipe reset and then reinstall liberty? Or just install liberty again over what I already installed....

The new toolbox is awesome, but I will say that I do miss the preview pics of the fonts and the themes. I found it better to see what your changing before you change it but I still like the new tool box.

If you longpress a item in the rom manager it will show you a screenshot option if there is a screenshot available.

Hey JRummy, I absolutely loved 1.5 but I couldn't resist Gingerbread. I'm currently running the Rooted & Deodexed version of GB. Since I'm rooted & Deodexed do I still need to sbf? And If I do need to sbf can you possibly explain why? I thought that I could just restore a backup that was 340 and then wipe/install Liberty 2.0

You will need to sbf back due to the new kernel you have. Restoring a backup won't flash the new kernel. I wish it wasn't like that :\ Dumb bootloader.

ok guys cant wait to donate and download/ but the only thing holding me back is losing my numbers. i always lose a couple peoples number everytime i flash. can someone tell me how to change that? with an app or something

What if I donated via paypal in the past? Guess I gotta donate again? Im sure it'll be worth it :-) just want to clarify

I just got a new Droid today (bricked my last one), should I just wait for the 2.0 release and not bother installing the 1.5 to avoid any complications or save time?

A few things I can think of...

-Make sure contacts are synced under your google account.
-Hit menu while in contacts, click import/export, export to SD card, and then import them in later.
-Log on to your gmail account on a normal computer, click the Contacts link in the left menu under compose mail, go through there make sure all your contacts you want are listed.
-Go to the market and search "contacts backup" many apps will appear.
