Anyone have an answer for my ? on page 10 please?

Well, LTB is sort of different with the donate version. There is a rom manager... jrumny posted more stuff on page 1. I would get the donate version, you won't be let down. Idk how long until the free version of liberty 2.0 is released.

Edit: thought twice about venting/starting flame wars.

Rom manager is a big improvement on the old downloading ways (you can leave the app, you get alerted when d/ls are done, you don't have to boot through clockwork and go through settings to delete cache and data)

So when you install a new theme do you have to wipe and back up every time you change themes?

If the Developer says wipe it's a very good idea to wipe, or you will have problems. To make it easier on yourself when you do wipe and start setup over again and again and again get yourself some key apps and save to SD card so you can reinstal right away. I like Titanium backup, ADW Launcher, ClockWorkMod, Beautiful Home etc. All these have backup and restore functions that can make setting a new ROM up faster and with a few less stress headaches, and save on the anxiety a bit.

Sorry about that, I did not see Theme the first time reading your post. You do not have to wipe anything to change themes, but still a good idea to backup in case you don't like the new theme setup after install, that way you don't have to hunt things down to change phone back to the way it was.

Also, I was not trying to cause problem using Liberty Toolbox and ClockWorkMod in the same sentence. I think they are both excellent apps.

do I need both tool boxes?

Temporary fix for Liberty Settings Force Close that I realized from this comment.

I had the Donation tool box on my phone, not the free one, and I was getting force closes, even after following mobile_sensai's tips.

After reading sean's question, I d/led the free app, and surprise, surprise, Liberty Settings no longer force closes. So I'm guessing that there's a line of code somewhere in the the free LTB that was misplaced or forgotten in the donate LTB that activates lib settings.

So to answer sean's question, at the moment it seems like a good idea to have both.

Thanks I had the donate version installed rebooted reinstalled but liberty settings still won't work but now with both tool boxes its fine
