Liberty ROM - v. 2.0

Okay, did a clean install, SBF and wiped. I am having alot of difficulties with this ROM. Liberty settings causes FC everytime. Download theme from toolbox rom manager, when asked to reboot, hit ok and it just sits there....no reboot, no nothing...eventually get FC. Many apps cuase FC that have not before or on any other ROM. ALDIKO premium for one.

Is an update coming soon? Love the look, feel and speed but this one isn't ready for a work phone yet :). Looks like a restore to 1.5 is in order :(.

@sparkyman: is that stock or overclocked? I'm getting around 1300 now and 1500-1600 when I was on gingerbread quad scores (no o/c).

@sean & debrad: I typically don't wipe either, only the thing is sometimes old elements of the theme trickle in to the new them if you don't wipe (i think) cache. I don't think you have to wipe data though. I very well could be horribly wrong about this hehe

Thanks I had the donate version installed rebooted reinstalled but liberty settings still won't work but now with both tool boxes its fine

Thanks, under further review, don't open the free toolbox any more, cause it just gets angry and force closes. Donated tool box works fine though. Thanks to debrad0307 for the heads up.

Liberty 2.0 and overclocked

When on gingerbread I got 1500 mhz from quickclock auto set, which scared the crap out of me cause I've never seen more than 1200mhz on my phone pre-gingerbread, so I thought it would burst in to flames or travel back in time or something.

Try opening Droid X Bootstrapper, click Bootstrap recovery, click okay (and allow super permissions if it pops up), exit out, then try reinstalling the theme.

Also maybe your file got corrupted so try going to file manager (in apps), click the sd card button at the top, click liberty folder, themes folder, long click on the theme you are trying to install and delete it, and reinstall again.

Just guesses, but hope it helps!

I'm getting upper 1600 on Lib 1.5 OC'd. I thought it would be a bit higher on 2.0. A lot of GB guys are getting well into the 2000's with OC.

Yeah I've always assumed my phone was more of a dud, like when they say some clock higher than others. Also I use quickclock which does it automatically, rather than just entering the numbers and testing for myself.

jrummy. I was trying to get ready for the 2.0 while running 1.5 I wiped all data and cleared all caches including Dalvik. Now my market keeps force closing and I cant donate there. I did donate thru here directly. Can you offer any advice on the market force closing and the 2.0 DL. Thank you

Just updated with recovered apps and data. Everything seems to work without a hitch. Lovely work so far.

If you are getting FCs, please download alogcat from the market, and use that to send jrummy the log so we can diagnose the issue. If it's not happening on our phones, it's harder to fix without a log.

And for those that went ahead and grabbed the donate version of the toolbox (and subsequently 2.0), thank you. Your willingness to dive into untested waters is appreciated. Please check everything you can think of to make sure we've got a rock solid release for next week.
