Lollipop Hold Out

Perhaps not..but "better" in this case is subjective. I haven't seen a launcher do anything so spectacular that I had to have it. As I said..I prefer stock and simplistic.. I've got just about everything I can disabled and that's just my preference.. Most people TRY to get use out of the same thing that I find annoying..and good for them..
"Simplistic" is probably not what you really mean.... but I've still saying that 26MB (Nova Launcher) is not exactly a lot of "extra garbage".

Not sure where you get 26 from.

Clarify? Not sure what you mean here?

Meaning others will try out key features on the phone or launchers and use them or find them useful...I find em annoying..so I don't mess with them..I disable every not used app I can..wish they were able to be deleted..
Swipe to wake, knock on(g3), daydream..all useless to me by preference.

Uncluttered, not weighted down by anything...and you seem to be taking exception to "extra garbage" ..but to me all extra apps I have on my phone that I don't want or use are just that..extra garbage. Why is that hard to understand? I'd really love to be able to remove the other 20-30+ apps I have disabled as well. And all of the widgets that are taking up space for no reason for me.

I'm the type that if I have a motor capable of making say 800 hp to the rear wheels...but if i add the extra weight of leather seats, and all sorts of luxury add ons..I know I lose performance due to the extra weight...so I like to keep the things drawing from my processing cycles to a minimum..

So what I do is I go in further and cut the extra weight down, make as little friction in the belt assembly as possible, make sure its "base lined" ...familiar with the new z28 Camaro??? Sorta like that..instead of 15 speakers for a Bose radio system that I don't need..I run one speaker. I disable everything I don't use(that I can). That's just me..that's just an example.. I don't actually mess with the speaker of my phone..I am referring to apps

Remember that old saying: "one man's trash is another man's treasure". My phone is similar to 94lt1, pretty simple & clean. But that's just my personal preference. The beauty of Android is all of the custom "stuff" we can do...or not do. It's great to have so many choices in how we setup and use our phones.

When I first got into Android I tried every launcher. I swear I've tried damn near everyone. Always looking for something different. I used Nova on my HD once they added "Remove clock from the notification tray". I hate that clock. Why must that be there Google?
Of course we get what you stock folks are laying down. But as for a car analogy and adding weight? Pfft. Adding Nova is like adding Rain-X to your windshield for us. :)

It may be like adding rainx..but either way...it got my point across. [emoji106]

I must admit I'm not on love with the Task Switcher. It's very pretty but it annoys me how it keeps every single app I've opened in it, even after a reboot and there's no Close All button.

Do you find random apps that you've already closed or haven't used in forever showing up in it on the Turbo? Seems like my Note 4 randomly brings apps back to life, even ones that do nothing in the background.
