Lollipop Hold Out

All you lollipop hold outs!!! You suckers are gonna take the sucker update!! Suckers!! Um..meh its too early for this...lmao

Why would I update knowing I have to deal with a white background (battery drain), new runtime and certain accessibility features removed. I like my setup now (2 days of battery at least). I'll eventually upgrade when I take the time to flash rooted 5.1 using mofo so I can customize themes.

The only white background in the Turbo's Lollipop is the settings menus. The app drawer is the dark theme blue-gray color. And many apps have their own color themes, like they did on KitKat.

Besides, for normal Lollipop which is all white, who spends that much time in Settings or the app drawer to even notice a negative effect on battery life?

Preference is exactly that . good thing I have a choice ;) I can chose to avoid a feature even if its a small difference. I also want to use the pie launcher but need root

My reason is just that I like to keep my phone trim and neat..no extra garbage on it.. So I guess that's probably why i stick to mostly moto devices..almost vanilla Android...so I know my device will be fast and still has tons of room should I need to start loading it with extras...

As if a better launcher is "extra garbage".

Perhaps not..but "better" in this case is subjective. I haven't seen a launcher do anything so spectacular that I had to have it. As I said..I prefer stock and simplistic.. I've got just about everything I can disabled and that's just my preference.. Most people TRY to get use out of the same thing that I find annoying..and good for them..
