MattyP's .215 Leak Classroom

Josh, it almost seems like battery meter. FoxKat may have other suggestions, but I would let it discharge to 10% again and turn it off, charge to 100%. See if that works. Also, let it stay turned off charged at 100% for about 15 minutes or more... because when the icon meter first reports 100%, the phone is really only 95-100%... because it only reports in 10% increments. Letting it stay charging at 100% with phone off for a little while will insure that it truly is charged at 100%.

Now, keep in mind, FoxKat may come by and think I am talking out of my behind, lol! If so, listen to him cuz he knows better than me about these things.

Yeah, i agree that is what it seems like. I already did the foxkat meter training. Maybe it didn't work and i should try it again. Also if anyone has any other ideas I'd live to hear them.

Maybe i should go back to .211 (that is possible right?) do an FDR, upgrade to .215 again, and then do another FDR. Then do another battery training. Or... Just wait for the next version to come out

I don't think you will need to go back to .211 although it is possible to do. While on .215 you could go into the recovery menu, try partition wipe and do another fdr to see if that helps. But doing this from .211 would not be any different than doing it from .215.

If you have already done fdr's while on .215, I would try another cycle of meter training first. Ask Foxkat... I am famous for slightly messing that procedure up and having to do it again.

I'm pretty familiar with "the foxkat method" i would hate for him to have to post it yet again on my account. Plus, I'm pretty sure its been posted like a thousand times in various threads.

You are so right on that one. He may have some other ideas though that I just don't have his depth of knowledge on battery issues to share.
