Yes you will. A FDR only restores the phone to the "stock" condition of whatever version of OS is presently burned into ROM. Depending on whether you choose to or not, you may also wipe all internal storage for a completely fresh start, but make sure to back up important data, pics, videos, SMS, Contacts, Phone Logs, etc., before performing the FDR in any case.

Yes, FDR does not clear the operating system or else you'd go back to gingerbread

Sure wish i could go back to GB, i do still have a safestrap backup of it :D anyhow, what's a good program to use to back up everything i need?

Unfortunately the Safestrap backup is only of the ROM, not the Kernel, otherwise there would be a copy floating around that anyone could restore it with.
