MattyP's .215 Leak Classroom

I'm going to click on the batch thingy with the checkmark and backup all apps and data...in prep for HDR?...

I think you mean "FDR" ... Factory Data Reset ... but yes.

HOWEVER, be careful when you do the FDR ... if you select "wipe internal storage" it will delete your TB backup folder and you will have to start all over again and reinstall all your apps. But once you have paid for an app you won't have to pay for it again, it's tied to your email address in the phone. :)

As a safety precaution could you not just pull your SD card so there is no chance it gets wiped. then stick back in and restore.

Yes you can, but you have to make sure the TB folder is ON the SD card ... if it's on your "Internal Storage" it will get wiped. I also back my TB folder up to my laptop just for safe keeping. I believe in redundancy. :)

It would be great to see your list of whats frozen, get on that would ya. The one from the other thread is a bit outdated. in particular items that tend to run in background using battery the most need to go.

Ok I tell ya what ... I'll do that this evening, if you can give me a little bit. I need to feed my critters and myself. I have 76 apps frozen in my phone so it's no small order LOL
