MattyP's .215 Leak Classroom

:icon_eek:  :icon_eek:

Ok I tell ya what ... I'll do that this evening, if you can give me a little bit. I need to feed my critters and myself. I have 76 apps frozen in my phone so it's no small order LOL

You rock. :icon_ banana: dancedroid DancingNexus

I think I got the main crap at any rete. But im sure there are things that look like they need to be there but don't.

Yes you can, but you have to make sure the TB folder is ON the SD card ... if it's on your "Internal Storage" it will get wiped. I also back my TB folder up to my laptop just for safe keeping. I believe in redundancy. :)
I suppose the place to change that would have been in settings...BEFORE i started my backup?....yeah
oh well...I'm a bit confused about the sd card verses "extermal" sd card...I thought i put a 30g card in my phone but it always says like 8 maybe...then in one of the many new procedures (haha) I've done lately I noticed an external sd card with like 29g available....
So, when I move apps to sd...that's not really moving them to the external sd i stuck in my phone?

You would have changed it before yes.

The naming is dumb but the way it is. The internal phone storage is call sdcard and has about 8GB give or take whats on it. The external card is called sdcard-ext and is what ever size you have (30GB in your case) normally 8 or 16 GB and is the one you can remove.

To change it on TB hit the settings button and select preferences. Scroll down to find *Backup folder location, click it. use the back button to change folders twice. you should see sdcard-ext now, click it and then create a new folder to store the TB back up in.

You can copy the TB folder to your external at any time ... but that's another class. :)

Sorry, I would've answered this a long time ago but in the middle of a major room re-arrange... But to answer the question about whether to disable apps from the settings-all apps menu or to freeze them from TiBU, you can disable/freeze them from either place. If you freeze it in TiBU and check back to settings, it will show the app disabled. If you disable it in settings and check TiBU, you will see that the app is frozen. The same is true for defrosting/Enabling an app... if you do it in one, it is done in the other. They are perfectly synced.
