[ROM] Maverick Rom for the Droid 3 (MavROM) - V3.0

Just Installed without wipe. Wifi tether (radio hack) seems intact, came from 2.0 to 3.0 Mav...so far so good.

of course it does ... remeber locked boot loader, not flashing kernels or radios.... unless you sbf you'll never loose the hack, or unless theres a radio update..

BTW tibu is worthless only creates problems.. imo

Different Baseband than yours (OP)

pedwards / buckmarble ,
I came to MavROM 3.0 from stock 5.7.890 (rooted). After installing MavROM 3.0 and comparing my 'About Phone' screen to yours - I find that my baseband version and kernel version is not the same as the one you posted in OP. Although the system version is same (5.7.902.XT862)
Here is a quick comparison :

Do I have an older radio than you? Is there a quick painless way to upgrade to latest baseband and kernel (assuming the battery is better on the baseband and kernel that you are on).

Thanks!

Looks like the baseband and kernel update were part of 5.7.894 . Given my current situation, running MavROM 3.0 on safestrap safe mode (stock 5.7.890 rooted in unsafe mode) - Is there a way to install 5.7.894 within safe mode and upgrade the baseband and kernel ?

Ped and I both flashed the 5.7.894 OTA with permaroot in place. This what gives us a different baseband and kernel

Sent from my DROID3 using DroidForums

Hehe don't like angry birds either.. but I do need to restore whatsapp, browser, other games and all the settings for my other apps and it restores them like nothing changed at all

i have the same ones from the screen shot posted by SocalDroid ...
