MetaMorph themes for swype

dude u r the man..that went straight on my droid..how do u make those things..i would love to see a metalic lookin one to match the iron man theme floating around here..what do u think? what rom are u running?

im running the sapphire rom with blue theme. ill look into the matalic looking one. its really not hard to do, if you have photoshop or anything, the easiest way with photoshop is to go into quick edit and slide the slider to adjust the hue and stuff. like all the black ones with glowing colors, the blue one was the original,all the other ones was just simply sliding the color slider to desired colorness, im still learning as well,lol the secret is out.

i thought a red swype theme would look good, what handcent theme are you using.

Sneaky...damn dude...once again you knock it outta the park. I'm using the black keyboard with the glowing red keys...and the comments I've gotten on it are all like "WOW".

I am curious...could you do one with the black keys, and possibly a gold glow? That would possibly go with the one request earlier to go with the Iron Man theme as well...

updated OP with link to my MM themes for handcent, i should prolly comment that the MM handcent themes are very basic and prolly need to be sharpened up but they work and match the themes floating around

im actually working on figuring out how to make the keys and letters one color and the glow a different one. not going so good at the moment lol. im still learning. wait do you mean a black keyboard with gold glowing letters/numbers. that i can do pretty quick. i thought you meant like black keys(letters/numbers) with gold glows but then i was thinking a black keyboard with black keys(numbers/letters) would be hard to see.

is there any way to install this without root explorer? i'm using a legit beta version of swype but cant find the files in data/app by just using astro or by browsing on the computer. I just rooted the other day, so maybe root explorer is a must have?

Exactly. Just instead of the red glow on your black keys, can you do like the gold color instead? That glow is wicked awesome.

root explorer is a must have, i think some other file manager apps do that same thing that are free, you can adb move it but that tends to be harder

I'm looking for a good swype theme to fit my DarkeEdge theme, but there isn't much out there... the ones in the OP look awesome, but they just don't fit DarkEdge. I was curious if it was possible to make a MM swype theme similar to this one: New Swype Custom Themes for All Users | Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

The reason I can't use the one on that site is its an older version of swype and its an "install" version, and not actually a metamorph theme. Would be epic if you could pull something like that off.

looks great! but i'm having issues...maybe its just a blonde moment. I do just as stated.
im using swype 1.5.6 beta. running Kangerade 5.0.9
I copied swype over to system/app renamed it. installed app (also tried not installing it first) rebooted, and got F/C. Tried again and came up opened MM applied theme said it completed opened up swype and its still the stock greyish color.
any ideas?

i should beable to pull the modified images out of his theme and make one. first i need to make a black and gold version, im running behind on request

id start from scratch, uninstall and reinstall swype, make sure your moving com.swype.inputmethod-1 or 2.apk and not the installer
