updated post #3 with swype_DE...the only parts that are gold,(i have not tested it) by looking at the images will be the pop up word suggestions. if other cant live with it,ill make the red one to. just trying to save some hasle and space etc.... to the creators of darkedge, this MM them is in no way made from parts of darkedge or any parts of darkedge. also credit for images goes to the droid-life link that was posted.

i was able to change the tracer color only when i compiled swype as an modified(themed) apk and resign it. seeing that its not allowed to be distributed that way, i kinda gave up. ill still look at it in my spare time but its not looking good.

=( it sucks that you cant modify the tracer color without resigning it and such oh well the blue tracer looks pretty nice with the black and blue theme

yeah it does suck, im sure it can be done without resigning it and stuff,i just havent figured it out yet. has anyone noticed any other MM themes for swype that also changes the tracer color.

Hey sneaky, so I changed the tracer color by editing the lib.swypecore.so and resigned it and everything but after I installed swype, I got that blue box around the keyboard, did you get that problem too?

no i didnt, try to reinstall it and reboot a few times.
