What app did you install there? Once you move it to /system/app/ you just reboot then use MM to theme it and reboot again.

What app did you install there? Once you move it to /system/app/ you just reboot then use MM to theme it and reboot again.

looks great! but i'm having issues...maybe its just a blonde moment. I do just as stated.
im using swype 1.5.6 beta. running Kangerade 5.0.9
I copied swype over to system/app renamed it. installed app (also tried not installing it first) rebooted, and got F/C. Tried again and came up opened MM applied theme said it completed opened up swype and its still the stock greyish color.
any ideas?

yeah,you just move com.swype.xxxxx to /system/app then apply the mm theme,if you get f/c before you apply the MM theme then just reboot phone, i think its good to move the swype apk to /system/app and rename it,then reboot, then apply MM then reboot,like the OP says,lol no where does it say to install an app lol

id start from scratch, uninstall and reinstall swype, make sure your moving com.swype.inputmethod-1 or 2.apk and not the installer

thanks. Ill give it a shot once I get to work. Seems like i tried it like that but wasnt having any luck. Move it over rename install MM reboot and get FC. I tried the install cause if i remember correctly after I moved it swype wouldnt come up in the keyboard option menu. but ill give it another shot today

Yeah after you move it you have to go back into Settings->Language and Keyboard and put a check mark next to Swype and set up your options.

That is very peculiar, sorry you were having problems with it but glad to hear you got it squared away!

hey sneaky, know you're busy, but i second that other guy's post on the darkedge theme. It would be awesome if you could make one just like that with the red whenever you had time. thanks!

i thought the gold one would look better with darkedge,but i can also do the red one too. here is the gold one example

it looks great! thanks! i like the gold but i have the red darkedge theme so gold doesn't exactly match perfectly, but thank you so much!i thought the gold one would look better with darkedge,but i can also do the red one too. here is the gold one example
