Missed Call for the Motorola Droid

I am not able to access this app on my Droid Eris. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

It's called "Missed call for the Motorola Droid". The Droid Eris is a different phone, made by HTC. The Droid runs Android 2.0, while the Droid Eris only runs 1.6. Some software only works with 2.0, and I assume this app is one of them.

Thanks so much for the quick response. My hubby has the Droid and I didn't know why I couldn't get the app on mine. I guess when they told me the only real thing that is different is the full slide out keyboard wasn't true. Guess I need to learn the lingo a little bit better.

If you can still return it back and get the Motorola Droid, I would suggest for you to do that. If you are happy with the Droid Eris, then keep it.

I'm quite happy with my Eris. Most of the apps that my hubby has put on his phone, I have put on mine. This was the first one that I couldn't and didn't understand why.

I'm just more annoyed at the Verizon guy that told me the only real difference was the slide out keyboard when that's clearly not the case.

Onotification font color

Ok I apologize ahead of time if this has already been addressed but 20 pages was a lot to read through. Is it possible to change the notification font color to something different I.e. white possibly?

how about the ability to add Verizon's Visual Voice Mail so we can get an LED for that?

It is not listed in the Add Service, but it seems a no brainer!

What does the application service do exactly in this program?

Would it be possible to assign custom LED to when certain IM applications receive messages?

Oh well at the moment this is not possible. The application service notifies you when an application got installed.

Is there any way to have Missed Call disable the notification and vibrate during a call? Or maybe just have it notify you one time.

i had this installed and it would function properly on missed calls for a little while then it would stop working. i would go in to the settings page just to verify they were on and it would work for some time then stop again. i am not sure what is going on.

Mine was doing that too. Do you have a task killer running? Try turning Missed Call's status icon on and check to make sure it's there when you arent getting notifications.

+1 on the Task Killer note! Since getting that little tip from missed_call in a previous post, my little blue guiding light has never left my side! I have Task Killer and I just added Missed Call to the "Ignore" list.

the verizon guy downloaded advanced task manager the day i got the phone. he said hit this icon everytime your done with the phone. i am not to sure what it does other than it says atm shut down x amount of programs every time i hit it.

Sorry for the dumb question: Missed Call seems to have missed notifying me of MMS messages (e.g. picture message) - is that not a part of the SMS service? How do I resolve this problem?

I like it, however not a fan of the icon. being able to pick what icon to use if possible like Handcent and you have me sold.
