Missed Call for the Motorola Droid

Oh thank you thank you, lol. Meanwhile I'm going to call myself and miss my own call so I can see how this is going. I guess I'll be taking a message for myself!

i tried this app. i like the ability to change the notification LED color, but i uninstalled it because i feel this functionality should be part of the OS. it also instructs to turn off notifications in SMS in order not to receive double-sms notifications.....
don't quite want to mess with OS settings to have an app working properly, so i'll wait....

Well full integration is not possible since there is no way to change the notification settings of e.g. the default messaging application.

I have had this application for some time and I love it! I wasted no time at all setting up the notifications and the different color LEDs! Ten thumbs up, missed_call!!!

My question is how to get it to stay on? It comes on if I need to reboot and the little blue light is there most of the time. However, I don't use my phone a whole lot so I can't tell you what specific task I do to make it go off but, inevitably, I will look over and the blue dot is gone and Missed Call is not running.

I have "Autostart" checked in the settings. Is there a separate toggle that will make it stay on all of the time?

Thanks again!

I have added "Missed Call" to the "Ignore" list in Task Killer to see how that works. If it still turns off, I will uninstall Task Killer to see if that works. If it still turns off, I will actively monitor my usage to see what it is I'm doing when it goes off.

In any event, I will update this thread with my results.

Thanks for helping!

What does the application service do exactly in this program?

Would it be possible to assign custom LED to when certain IM applications receive messages?

this is late - but i'd love it if you could put repeating audio alerts on calendar, like there is on missed calls.

I am not able to access this app on my Droid Eris. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

It's called "Missed call for the Motorola Droid". The Droid Eris is a different phone, made by HTC. The Droid runs Android 2.0, while the Droid Eris only runs 1.6. Some software only works with 2.0, and I assume this app is one of them.
