[MM Theme] 928Droid "Black" for ESE81 Pure Stock Rooted Droids

BTW, for those that like the "Droid Does" logos, I made a couple of new Beautiful Widgets Naked Backgrounds..with a "twist".

If you like them just click on and then copy the 2 attached files below (background.png and background-land-wide.png) into whichever skin directory you want to try them in.

Don't worry how the landscape-wide file appears from just the image, BW stretches it in landscape mode.

928...I copied those attachments right into the folder of the skin I want, but even after rebooting, the "Droid Does" doesn't show up on the skin. Is there another step I missed?

Never any need to reboot when changing BW skins, just reapply the same skin inside BW.

In other words if you were using NakedDroid and you copied the files into that folder (you should have gotten a warning about overwriting exisiting files, if you didn't then you didn;t put them in the right folder)...you then go back to Skins in BW and press NakedDroid and "apply" it again.

Just so it is clear this is not MM Theme files, it is BW Skin files.

Sorry...brain fart on my end. I'm using BW Smaller Home. When I loaded up just regular BW Home widget, it's there. I'm such a dork. Would there be a way to apply something like that for BW Smaller Home?

Not enough room on the smaller version to make it big enough to be seen.

ok forgive my ignorance... installing the helix launchers into system/app - does it have to be pushed with adb to do that? or is it simpler than that... tried doing a quick search but found nothing so far

I just use Root Explorer, move them to system/app, verify permissions are correct and then reboot...works perfectly for me.

I'm about 99% where I want to be with this, but probably going to switch launchers. See link in signature - had to do the family pics in the dropdown! I also didn't use the white box and stole the BB 1.0 home launcher graphic (basically the same but transparent).

How did you get your image to show up in the signature? I can't seem to get the forum to like it any way I try it.
