[MOD] Gingerbread 2.3 Keyboard w/ working Predictions

Is there anyway to mod this keyboard so that typing on the droid 2 side hardware keyboard will show the suggestion words as you type on it just as it does for the touchscreen?

the only one i know of is "Uber KeyBoard" from the market.
