I tried to use task killer apps for both froyo releases and it doesn't seem to be closing the open apps, the app even doesn't kill itself.

market issue, is this just with themed droids cuz m market is fine.

mine isnt themed and was giving me issues of not downloading

Okay, I had the not downloading issue as well. bgill sent me the new themed market and that corrected that issue, but not the paid apps issue.

i believe the reason for the market being broken is cause they updated it with the update all button which i didnt see with the first leak so them updating it may have caused issues with apps not showing or downloading

there is a fix for the market not downloading apps


settings>applications>manage applications>all>market>clear data and cache

is this just for the downloading of apps not starting the actual download and hanging?
Or showing paid apps as missing too?

i dont know about the paid apps issue you but it helped start the downloading

what theme is it? i have the stock market the issue is that some apps arent showing up like homerun batter 3d is that showing up for you?

This version is running MUCH better than the last version for me.

There is a noticible difference.

I will have to see how it holds up through the day tomorrow.

Using root explorer faster..web browsing is faster......this build is ...just....faster.

My Quadrant scores went up too. 1658. I barely got over 1500 before.

So, are there are different builds out, cuz my test keys say 38829. I installed FRF57 from another site. It came with a 1.2Ghz P3 kernel and supposedly busybox.

Different builds may yield different results, headaches.

What site did you download yours from? If you don't mind me asking

My market is working fine it downloaded all my paid apps and free ones but others are missing some apps that showed up in the first leak and not the second

It's ridiculous how much better the scrolling is, and I was going to comment on the other thread, the old version had a really bad jitter on the touch screen when you would hold your finger on it and not move it..gone on this version!

guess i am lucky, old version scrolls like the devil for me:icon_evil:

It's from my theme, originally I thought it was causing market to hang, this seemed to be alot quicker at updating.

I don't have specifically Homerun Batter 3d, but every other purchased app is showing.

yeah all my apps are there and everything is running great on my end themed and un themed was the same. I posted my themed market for clean black I think on page 25
