Moto Z Getting Oreo "In a Few Weeks"

I went through two warranty replacements a short while ago. It's kinda like doing an FDR. I was really surprised at how easy and quick this has become. I hope it goes smoothly for ya, @Sajo.
PS Husband is downloading and installing his now. Fingers are crossed. He gets cranky when his phone isn't working just right (don't we all)

Good luck Sajo.
I accidentally did an FDR a couple of months ago. Got rid of trash I wasn't using and didn't need, like past years on a PC doing f:disk.

After a couple of days my battery life seems the same to. No big change for me either. I did clear the cache and rebooted it right after the update. The one thing I noticed that I like is when you turn 4g on from the drop down menu it actually turns it on, it doesn't take you to the data page anymore. That's nice.

Edit: Did anyone else find the octopus?

Yep. I forgot all about that. Thanks for the reminder.

It's been about the same for me TxDoc. Doesn't seem any faster, or slower.

After uninstalling Tapatalk yesterday and reinstalling my battery life has been better, not great but better. Then today I get an Android notification that Tappy is using a lot of battery. Maybe some apps just don't like 8.0? 10% of total battery used since 6AM by one app is a lot

Lol. There's been quite a bit of discussion on this forum. My Tapatalk has been 8%, but I have to others that's been higher. That's from 2-1/2 hours since I unplugged it. Probably not long enough for me to draw any conclusions.

sometimes I wonder how accurate the battery monitor is. for example yesterday took my phone off the charger at 6 and three hours later it was at 97 percent. but it is not always the case.

So, has anyone else with a Moto Z / Z Force seen this popup since updating to Oreo? I didn't see it with the old Tappy version I was using, but it was killing my battery. So I updated to the newest version in the Play Store and still get this popup. I turned background data to Off for Tappy and that helped. But I still got this once yesterday as soon as I opened Tapatalk.
