I mounted mine on the handle bar using a u-bolt and the ball joint portion of the standard Motorola Droid vehicle mount. Riding action video is here with a shot of the mount at the end.
I have a pair of Honda's in the garage. Popped in here while searching for ways to mount my Droid to the 954. RAM still isn't making a cradle for it, only a universal is offered. I'm thinking of buying the OEM auto mount and doing some surgery on it to make it RAM-usable. Any ideas are appreciated!
Sam - I'm still riding my '84 Honda 750 Nighthawk because I knew I'd probably never get another one if I sold this one.. And I can't bear the thought of not having the option of jumping on a bike and taking a ride - be it a quick jaunt through the country roads, a full day cruise up to the Appalachian Mountain winding highways or a slow ride along Ocean Avenue performing my "bikini tanline check"! Yup - never, ever, under any circumstances sell your ride unless you've got a new one first! mikey
I'm curious - I see you went from a Street Glide to Electra Glide - what are your impressions/differences between the two, which did you prefer and why? I've always been partial to the Street Glide myself, so I'm interested to know why you moved from the Street to the Electra. Love that blue (Flame Blue Pearl?) and what they did with the FLHT wheels on the 2009...beautiful!

Street Glide is better looking. Lower stance, monochromatic scheme, etc. But it also has a more harsh ride. I have actually had two Street Glides. Went from an 06 SG to an 07 Road Glide to an 08 Street Glide to an 09 EG Classic back to an 08 Road Glide. I went from the 08 SG to the 09 EGC because of the new frame. And also chose the EGC because it already had a tour pak. Handled like a dream. Unfortunately with the change came a change in riding height and angle. Didn't work for me so I went back to an 08.
