Im told there is no patch in the stream yet. Not even sure it will be next week.

I read this article, that was Tweeted, and wonder if anyone here has seen this happen to their Droid. It looks like FRG01B is the update and then VZW is updating that with a patch making the new updated version FRG22.

Gave it a try. In my case, holding down x while applying power did not produce the proper and exected results. End of insrallation.

Did you continue to hold down X until the M disappeared?

You could always try to get happy with ATT or T-Mobile.

I've noticed a few issues since updating yesterday to 2.2. Phone is running hotter. All that heat shows up as a faster discharging battery.
