Motorola Droid Bionic Joins the Droid Family!

no locked bootloader and no blur? this might be the phone that makes me retire my d1 hahaa...hopefully that's all true.

Yea, some of us are hoping all that tight security was just in the OMAP chip. It could be in the board inside too.

We will all find out after these phones get released.

^lol....I dont about that. That was in July. July this year would be one year.

Me....I paid full retail for the X just to be ready for the next wave. My Upgrade is in April this year.

(It didnt really hurt me paying retail, I had it billed to my phone bill and wound up paying it off in installments...took about 3 months to pay it off)

I imagine it will come out in July so that means all of us Droid 1 users who purchased our phones in back in November of 2009 are fortunate. I got my phone on the Nov 6th so bring on the Bionic.

As mentioned in that particular post the statement was directed towards those Droid X users who used their early upgrades because they won't be able to get the discounted pricing.

I've always known that we could build it to the account. You didn't occur any late charges for not having your billed paid in full monthly? How exactly does that work? Are you giving like a 6 months same as cash?

I dont know if its cuz I been with them for awhile or what, but no late charges. What I did was pay my cell phone bill in full, then give them an extra $200 (my bill normally is $130)

I might have gave them $200 twice in 1 month too, with each paycheck. I dont really know what happened, cuz ppl told me at different forums you had to pay that off in full. I know I didnt. Might be another nod for excellent customer service by Verizon. Their customer service is the only reason I'm still with them...

"everytime I try to get out...they pull me right back in..." lol
