I could have upgraded in November; I'm so glad I waited. With the changes I hear are coming to the early upgrade program, this will a phone I can easily live with for the full 2 years.

I'll be buying the best of whatever verizon's offering when i upgrade in July. Glad to have bought my DX on craigslist, it's really the way to go if you want to upgrade without using your upgrade. Cost me a D1 and $70.

Dual Cores @ 1GHZ means 2 cores clocked at 1ghz each. So a top speed of 2GHZ is achievable on these devices. Both handsets are running the same processor. You confused yourself : )

Currently there are no 2GHZ Dual Cores.

thanx for clearing it up, CK. Well, my assumption was wrong, we do have 2 1GHz cores...thats pretty sick. And now i really envy AT&T for getting the atrix i like the better camera on the bionic, but everything else on the atrix is better. theres still that LG though that claims it has the best screen and only consumes half the power PLUS it records in 1080p which i LOVE!! i just dont know what to think about LG android devices. they never had a top knotch one out until now.

^^^^^^^^ Best thing i've ever done was add a line with a one year contract (technically can cancel in 10 months) and save a couple hundred bucks on the phone and pay the 12.97 cents a month over 10 months = 129.70 (plus discounted price of the phone itself) so u pay some of it overtime but still end up saving hundreds off of buying it up front.

And some others of us did it a smarter way and paid an extra $70 for a 1-year contract instead of two that ends in July 2011 (TONS cheaper than an extra line).

PLUS I get a double-bonus because my wife did too but doesn't want to upgrade her phone, so beginning July 2011 I get 2 contracts with upgrades available! I'm planning on upgrading one of our phones in July and then the other whenever the next "ooh shiney" comes out and on average, I'll get two new shiney phones each year which means I can probably sell the previous one for a good chunk of change to offset the reoccurring $270 charges everytime I upgrade. ;-)

I've always wondered about this. What does a person do with two smart phones? Do you carry them both all the time?
