Well, I'll be looking for this phone then. Hardware keyboards and open boot loaders rank very high on my list of features in a smart phone. I suppose Mr. BlurryCam will grace us with some pictures before too much longer, if it actually exists.

You have to think this thing will be out this year right? I would think it would look pretty bad if the Moto CEO turned out to be completely wrong. I've been following this thread closely as my contract is up in a couple weeks and am hoping to get some more info soon!

If this Mythical Device is going to be out sometime this year my bet is we don't see leaked photos until October/November. We were promised an "Android Based/2ghz SuperPhone" by Motorola, the name Droid Pro wasn't mentioned specifically, but it sure is fitting

Meh, I could live without a 2 GHz device. We all know how terrible the battery life will be.

For me now, it's World Edition or BUST. To heck with that rather disgusting looking HTC world edition that has leaked. :icon_eek:

Hello, my name is Nancy and I'm an admitted Gadget Geek Addict. My husband says I need to go to counseling! LOL! But all joking aside. I know you have seen me post many times about what phone to get.
I have the Droid 1 and absolutely love it except for the call quality. It has been horrible and I'm on my 7th phone in just under 3 months for various problems.
I'm chopping at the bit to get an Droid X. I for one love the fact that it is 4.3" in size. I had the Archos 5 which was 5" but do to the speakers and such it added way too much real estate to make it really pocketable. Then there's the fact it was not on the 3G network. So this phone would be a good fit I beleive. But there is this rumor hanging out there about the Droid Pro. I just know if I get the X and the Pro comes out, I will want it. So I'm impatient but willing to wait for the Pro if everyone thinks this phone is going to be MUCH better than the X and will be out by Christmas time. The specs for the Pro, although speculation, sounds amazing and worth waiting for.
So is this phone really going to come out? I'm been searching the net for the last 2 weeks trying to find any new updated info on the Pro that I can but I know it's still early. Does everyone think it really will be here by Christmas and will be better than the X? Otherwise I'm not waiting.

Well if it does exist, it will destroy the droid X and every other phone in the market. I'm personally waiting to upgrade my droid 1 to the pro when it comes out. All other phones arent a big enough upgrade from the original droid imo.

By the way, the news section says 1.3 Ghz, 4" display, and World Phone and that the source in Verizon basically confirmed it, ETA Novemeber.

I am liking 1.3 Ghz better due to battery life and happy the display is 4" -- hopefully it is exactly 4" as I think that is perfect. Keyboard or not -- I will be happy.

I am just worried on the price for data?

There is a chance it could be dual core: the OMAP 4 is listed at 1+Ghz
