Motorola Droid Pro

This doesn't really change my plan--if correct--it simply means I will not be getting a DROID Pro. However, I will still be getting the Nov/Dec super phone that has the 1.3 Ghz, 4" , etc .. Verizon already announced LTE phones around this time frame and I am sure they will be launching another Android heavyweight then. Most of us who purchased the Droid in Nov/Dec 2009 may get a 1 year early upgrade at this time and this "giant" phone (Sick? Pro? Something else?) is our target.

So since it appears to be the "same phone..." scratch that one off my list..

Okay, what about the Motorola "sick?" Hopefully this guy is amazing and sports a 1.3 dual core processor with LTE...Now were talking about something SICKKKK!! :icon_ banana:

Well he is still calling it the" pro". And when I said Ti ARM cortex9 I was verifying the dual-core assessment. I see what you're saying, but what im saying is that the leaked list does not yet include the droid" pro" or any other LtE devices.

The proof will be in the pudding. My bud has always been right in the past.
You better tell your friend to take a look here : )

The info I put in this thread trumps anything you will hear or read out there. I promise you that.

So according to your sources, this is the rumored 2GHz super phone?

no. no one knows what this is, except this pic came out several weeks ago, and was rumored to be the Droid Mini.

I seriously hope not. I really don't like that form factor. I guess there are two different devices just the Pro is the crappy one of the two.

Read up a few posts from yers CK :)

All I am hearing from people is that the, now A957 "Sick", is going to be based on a 1.3 ghz TI processor. I haven't seen anyone refer to the facts that both Motorola and Nvidia mentioned using the new Tegra 2 SOC from Nvidia. It is dual core and we know the A9 can scale up to 2 ghz.

NVIDIA says Tegra 2 shipments still on track for Q3… to Motorola? – Android and Me

I say forget TI and lets talk about how "SICK" a Tegra 2 based Droid will be!

if this is a GSM version, would that mean that you could surf and talk at the same time? People kept saying that CDMA is the reason why you cant but since its GSM... possible?

LTE would probably allow you to do it i'm gonna assume... so... if this phone doesnt have that capability or a front facing camera or a screen bigger than 4" or capabilities to house android 3.0 i'm not upgrading to squat!

I was gonna say because that A957 portrait slider phones looks like a freaking Torch running Android. :p
