All the SOAK test I've been in....usually you get the email about a week before they start pushing out the test. The test usually last from the day they push it out to Sunday, I've had them last from Saturday to Sunday (a week) and one from Thursday to Sunday. Typically I've seen the roll out to everyone within a weeks time after the test completes.

Just think.... much like the assassination of JFK, the Challenger explosion and the Last episode of Seinfeld - We will ALL remember right where we were when this GD OTA download of ICS occurs.
Good times.
that is a big jump to go from 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 to go without a soak test and it seems like a recipe for disaster imho if some unforeseen bugs plague the OTA
Motorola and/or Verizon (maybe both actually) promised ICS on the Maxx "within the coming weeks"...that was 5 months ago. I guess this is technically still "coming weeks" but I wouldn't believe anything either of them have to say. If they actually stick to their word (for once) on this Q2 thing, I wouldn't expect it any earlier than 11:59pm on June 30th

I agree. It would be very odd and possibly disastrous if they didn't soak us first. But maybe all the "leaks" have been the tests. With Q2 so close to being over I don't see how they could put out a soak. Unless they do it now.
