Curious... Are people getting the message only on the Verizon IM app or will you get it if you're using another app for IM? I use Handcent and I haven't gotten it but I don't even have the Verizon app set up (never accepted their terms -- you know, the first time you click on it).

Motorola Droid RAZR to Get ICS this Month?

I believe it's the Verizon IM app, because that is the app that Verizon won't be updating to be compatible with ICS. Verizon wouldn't warn people about 3rd party apps that aren't supported.
Yeah and the next update will continue to improve the nexus radios... cuz it still hiccuping.

Nothing yet on Droid Razr while in Fl. Never use IM of any type. Was alerted when Moto did last soak test. MyDroid Razr was later updated, while my dad's took longer. Discovered he hardly ever uses 4g because he works at home. Soon as he lit it.....the VZ Moto update arrived! Also, his Backup Asst was always failing because that only works if 3/4g on. Now, he runs 3/4g at home a lot!

Do u think it's possible that ICS update will not be released until after new RAZR HD is available?
Seems like good marketing strategy to push newer Moto and Samsung III's
Hey! U can buy a razr dirt cheap now, so why would Big RED be happy about ICS update on older phone?
I have a contract so,I won't buy new phone, but older droiders may opt for a cheaper razr than newer. Times are rough....
However, it can also work the other way by selling off excess stock of older gingerbread razors. Ya think?

Idk if moto will drop the HD before or after ics, but I'm hoping that its after. So i can spend a little bit of time with my beloved maxx's, before I drop em like hot potatoes for the vanquish
