The "superphone"THAT phone, or the superphone, in an as yet undetermined form?? I ask only because I know you probably already know...
I don't mind waiting either but I am still getting antsy...I guess since the Motorola Droid Pro (MoDroPro) didn't pan out into anything worthwhile I will have to name this one the (MoSuPho) or the (MoSuDro)....with SU being the key and having dual meaning -Super- and -Super User- :wink:The "superphone"THAT phone, or the superphone, in an as yet undetermined form?? I've waited this long whats another 4-5 months lol
C/K, I have thought about that too, and the really cool thing about it is...if you were playing a video game, instead of the slide out keyboard having numbers and letters the game.apk would come with it's own keyboard/game pad that would load up with that particular game, turning the entire keypad into a NES controller...it would also be great for meeting multi language needs, if you need a chinese keypad, you just download one from the Market and load it up...a great concept indeedWhats sort of interesting about the render of that Tegra, T2, Venus, Superphone phone is that the pull out keyboard is a solid piece. Looks like smooth black glass with "buttons"
Even though it's just a render it would be cool to have a pull out "virtual" keyboard.
Not the pics above. I'm talking about the render with the Nvidia logo on it.
I've used the Motorola Droid on several occasions, and I must admit that it is a pretty strong competitor to the Apple iPhone. However, after reading my pros and cons list, you will see why I would choose the iPhone over the Droid any day.
PROS (for Droid)
-Physical slide-out keyboard
-Multitasking capable (run multiple applications at once)
CONS (for Droid)
-Physical keyboard is difficult to type on
-Internet browser is far inferior to the one found on an iPhone
-Though the phone has 16 GB of memory, only a preset, small fraction of that can be used to store apps
-Much smaller catalog off apps available for download compared to 100,000+ you can get on iPhone
The verdict: If you are stuck on Verizon, then I would go with the Droid, but otherwise I would pick AT&T and get an iPhone.
