Motorola, Verizon to debut Droid Razr at Oct. 18 event?

This is the phone I've been waiting for.

I've had the OG Droid since January 2010 so I'm eligible for an upgrade but nothing has really caught my eye until now. The Bionic looked somewhat promising, but the delays were just a huge turn off and red flag for me. My phone before the OG Droid was the RAZR, so this phone just seems like the perfect successor.

Can't wait till Monday!

...The pictures of this device next to the Bionic showed that the screen was the same size as the Bionic's (imo). I don't see where every is getting 4.5"

it's not 4.5 - it will be 4.3".

I stated that they were just pushing the bionic out the door to satisfy the hype they created around it even though it was a very flawed device from the beginning.

Unfortunately this fear is reality, luckily I didn't buy into the hype. I may even get the razor if it comes out before the prime. Looks like a sweet phone!

Um the bionic is bad ass sorry to rain on your intelligence! Except for a couple bugs. Get over it every phone has bugs at first, reality check!

Razr will be sweet but there will be bugs. And, when there are im gonna throw them in your face. Hahaha

^Same here. The Bionic is a very fast phone and the only thing that get's me excited at this point is the idea of a display that is larger than 4.3 inches.

I'm just the opposite, I wouldn't go any larger than 4.3, and am also happy with the Bionic but am sure this is gonna be a hot phone as well.

I have a Thunderbolt and my upgrade isn't till 12/2012. I really would like to see the Nexus Primes stats and atleast play with one. Love the Tbolt with the extended battery but all these new phones are so tempting!
