I don't have to be frugal, I have money to pay for these luxuries.

Like I said in my original post, this case, or any carbon fiber case for that matter, is not for everyone. Some people are fine with plastic cases in the $10-20 price range. Others want something better. I want something better and I am in a position to afford it. You'll probably really flip out when you find out I am buying two more.

Alright, whatever. Maybe it was a poor choice of words on my part. Call it what you want....waste of money, excess, lavish, dumb, extreme, or something else.

I have it on my Droid and I like it. That's fine by me if you don't.

whoa there. My post was about the topic so I feel I am allowed to speak how I feel and see who else agrees with me. Yes I paid 18 for some plastic but its doing the same job as the 150 dollar case - protecting the phone

yes your entitled to your opinion but saying that its a waste of money is not welcome.

and not everyone has the money to spend freely like this - economy isnt in a state of prosperity

its like buying a station wagon and putting spinners. I know its not the same because you cant really outdo the droid (as of right now) but spending 1/3 of the retail price on an accessory is just a bit outta whack

I do enjoy spending money - its not that i dont have it - but not too many people think its worth spending 150 on a phone case. Just because its carbon fiber does not make it quality.

Its a forum - the who point is so I can express my thoughts and opinions

Maybe you're right, but that does not discount the value to those who do. It's all relative when spending money.

As an example, I spend thousands of dollars on bass guitars that may seem ridiculous to some people when cheaper brands can be had for $500. "What's the point?" I often get asked by people who do not have an appreciation for the craftsmanship and quality of the instrument.

You have made your opinion clear that you think this is a waste of money. Yeah, you have the right to say what you want, but this thread is not really the place to do so.

This thread isn't an advertisement for the case in case you didn't know.
This thread was a person's kind way of showing his case, its uniqueness
and its premium looks, which in case YOU didn't know: is subjective.

I don't care, and I'm sure the OP doesn't care about your opinion.
If this case (or the OP's choice in lifestyle) bother you this much why not create a new
post on the matter? This is his thread, let him show his case and let it be a positive thread.

Your case is plastic: Made in China.
Stop having a personal association with your gear.


Usually its the poor people who take offense to people being
able to spend more money on possessions simply because they have
more disposable income than they. Get over it.

There are people that only have $100.00 (if that) of disposable income
then there are those with the decimal point moved over several times
over to the right of that figure.

The top piece gets in the way of the top row of buttons on the keyboard. I've tried a few other cases and they are all like that for me.

After speaking with the Infinity Carbon guys and sending close up pics of the case on my Droid, they have decided to redesign the case. Stay tuned!!!!
