My blue Kevlar case

I wanted a case made out of blue Kevlar with a University of Florida logo on it. It cost more than most people are willing to pay, sure. I knew exactly what I wanted so I was willing to pay for it. I got the case exactly when I was told it would be delivered to me.
I don't want anything on the front of my phone besides a skin to protect the screen.
How did I get ripped off? What is the gimmick?

just because you wouldn't spend the money to get one doesnt mean its a gimmick, or that he got ripped off. Its not getting ripped off if you are fully aware of the costs up, aren't taken by surprise, and are buying a custom product. That being said, I wouldn't buy one, but I still think it looks cool and wouldn't insult someone who does have it.
in my opinion,because lets say you drop your phone,you have 50% chance itll land on the side with protection. for that much money id want full protection..
the gimmick is this oh wow KEVLAR!!!omgzzz stuff when they dont give you adequate protection. i know you almost have to defend such a choice, since you posted it onhere.as long as youre happy i guess.
are you his boyfriend or something? it IS a gimmick. a kevlar case that only covers half of the phone? and that costs so much? im not saying he was completely ripped off, he got sooomething. and he choose to. good for him. however i find it just as "insulting" that youre calling me out for expressing my opinion on a FORUM for discussion,when i simply shared my opinion. i saw you tell someone else not to post if they didnt like it. i dontknow who made you king of this thread, but ill share my thoughts if i want.just as this fellow decided to share his 150ish dollar half-of-a-cover purchase. kthxbai
Alright, I see where you are coming from. I didn't buy this case to protect my Droid from anything. I bought it purely for the cosmetic factor.
I would agree with you that this case is deficient if you are after a case to protect your Droid from damage. I'd go with something more like the new Seidio Rugged or Otterbox for that.
Yeah, I do feel obligated to defend myself against people who come at me like you did. But it's all good now that you explained yourself more. No hard feelings on my end.

No, he is not my boyfriend. I am a guy, and I prefer the companionship of females. Not that there is anything wrong with males preferring companionship with other males. Just sayin'.....

Haha spoken like a true internet loser who doesn't get any. But yea, just to address your statements. You expressed your opinions and I expressed my opinion on yours. At no point did I say you shouldnt have said that, in fact I said I wouldn't have said that. Basically you're saying its ok for others to express opinions as long as they agree with yours. You shared your thoughts, I shared mine, stop crying and get over it. Its the internet, spend some time away from it and you won't get so upset.
And to MJ5, sorry youre not my type haha, I too prefer the company of females. I think nikkix is just jealous that not everyone spends their time in isolation

I just started reading this thread, but I think that case ooks stylish, polished, and distinguished in a sporty way. I'm sure its not for everyone, some people like Polo, some like Izod ..
I actually prefer Burberry...... Their polos are fanfrickentastic!!!!
But the case is awesome. A very unique design. Please let's see some better lit photos though!
