My Incredible 2 died!

I plugged my Incredible 2 into my computer with the USB cord that came with the phone. I wanted to know if it would charge the phone. Everything worked. The phone started charging and I was able to browse the phone on a very limited basis (2 folders). Anyway, I unplugged the phone, and set it on the table. The home screen was on, and had at least 50% battery.

I came back an hour later and the phone is dead. It wont boot, or anything. No response to the charger. No response plugged into the computer either. I have taken out the battery numerous times, but it didn't make a difference. Is there a way to force a reboot while the power is off? What else can I do?

try holding the power and the down volume button. Hopefully it will boot into the stock fast boot menu. You can do a stock reset from there.

Sorry, I already tried that as well. Still nothing. I know its not the battery. I swapped it into my girlfriends Incredible 2 and it works fine. Still at 50%.

I would call verizon and tell them.what happened. You may have a dud phone.
