like i said i hold him higher than normal store reps hes the owner of the store inside our gov building. and verizon is pretty much the only service we get in hear and we always get the phones before release date and there is never a shortage.. thats why i posted it he was right on with the x d2 dinc and galaxy so i would think he would know sumn

Thank you everyone for coming back on topic. I went back and caught the end of the other thread. Wasn't in the mood for trying to post in it while driving to my son's birthday party.
I appreciate keeping the thread inline. Y'all are doing a good job. I'll try to stick around here periodically to answer questions as new info comes in. Just trying to fill in some work projects so I'll be back and forth.
OK ... newb question here ... I haven't delved into rooting yet. I've only had my evo for a month or so and have a task killer on it, but it really doesn't seem to do much. Is this what your inferring ... they really don't do squat as far as killing a service to keep if from draining the system?
Pull it off your phone. It causes more problems than it fixes. Especially with 2.2.

I am starting to think that Verizon said "No twitter and no forums". But I was in a chat so they didn't say no to that. He said that it is coming soon (the info). He doesn't know what the 23rd will be (i.e. release date, info date etc) and he doesn't know if it is going to be the 11th. I don't think he knows the release date either. But I know is he telling the truth and I want EVERYONE to say thank you and wait for he will give us what we want. It wont be tonight. Go to bed.

Miami1683's job is to create buzz. He's done a fabulous job. If this forum/thread dies down a bit - you'll hear from him again. For now HTC/VZ is quite comfortable and correct to use the "highly anticipated" label - once official information is released.
