Guys its safe to say nothing is going to come out today or anytime until Verizon feels they want to. Its going on 8PM on the east coast. We should just chalk it up to a mistake and move on, everyone makes them. So until info is released then live by Carpe Diem and do what is best for you today. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get the MyTouch 4g. Same specs but faster, and a cheaper phone plan.

has there been any info on this lg envy pro i been hearing about??

My wife has the current version. It is suppose to be the same except faster specs, Two touch screens (instead of only one: currently the inside "flip" screen is not touch) and ANDROID! That is really weird that they are changing it like that. The best thing about the phone is that is has a great Physical keyboard. Otherwise? If you are in the Market for an DINC HD I am not sure an EnV phone is for you...

The current data plan is the $15 Multimedia/Feature plan. I assume it will be a mandatory $30 Smartphone plan if it is going to have Android? I know my wife will not be happy about this as she bought this as a "texting" phone basically and doesn't need the data... so hopefully the current version lasts... (I suppose you can do the $15/250 MB smartphone plan for that new EnV but that would scare me... cause I know she migth starting using Pandora or something and that would add up! (even if she hardly used anything else)...

I suppose it could work 250 MB on an Android phone but it would be a boring phone and you would need self control.

The speed is just about as fast as 4G so they call it 4G hahah. It sounds better than MyTouch HSPA+

and its on TMO BLAH LOL... im still sticking to my wednesday plan if nothing im sticking with sprint and upgrading to a NE2 with the EPIC or i might get the fascinate if my buddy will do a family plan with me lol

I told u all this in the last thread thats just what he feels lol..he said on page like 48 last thread he was 15 and sumn about turning ur phone off for better battery life lol hell miami might be his uncle IDK lol but i doubt he knows anymore than u or me:blink:

I thought today would make sense now that it is November. Since it didn't happen I am just going to move on with my life. I think Nov 11th is the next date that we might get info. And the source will probably be either from Verizon or one of the tech blogs. I will hold out hope that something happens here--and I will continue to check or post--but no more comments about Miami or the pics, etc. It will come when it comes. My excitement has lost steam...

In reality, I won't be able to upgrade until next month so I suppose it doesn't matter except for morbid curiosity. I suggest you get out, go to Best Buy and look at the current phones and drool over them. In person the Galaxies, and Droids, etc all look beautiful still...

If the Dinc HD is close to the specs that we all believe then they have to release it soon. CES is in January. There is no way they would release the Dinc HD after CES if its non LTE. CES is when they are gonna show case all things LTE and Dual Processors. It just makes sense that they start selling right around Black Friday and the Holiday season. It all adds up. The excessive Dinc commericals, BOGO promo, and now a price slash (down to $149).

Droid Life is reporting that non of their contacts have seen or even heard of such a device, and they claim if it were true, it definitely will NOT be a Droid.

I'm sticking with Miami at this point for a late Nov launch and he confirmed that it is in fact a Droid.

How is your Sprint service?

well im on east coast sprint is awesome out hear and cheep!! but i work in a government building and we dont get any service in hear but verizon put boosters in the building but other than at work sprint is great and i would not even consider changing to be honest if not for work.. they have come a long way in the past 5 years!! i would def give them a look im in maryland by the way~!

I'm going to give it another week by then hopefully we will have new news on this phone from Miami. If not then I will.either upgrade my Verizon line to the droid X if my parents upgrade our family plan or I will keep this evo. Either way I will be happy. Heck I might keep both lines. And buy the Droid Inc HD out right if I feel so inclined. Anxiously awaiting new news but I have to admit I am losing a little hope.

Trying out Sprint for a month. Sent from my Evo using Tapatalk. 4G is pointless when you don't live in one of the few available network areas.
