Mysterious Device Now With November 23 Launch date

Can it come out November 11 instead when my contract is due for an upgrade!? Lol I can wait 12 days.

What's funny, is that a person from Verizon said it was going to silently release on the 11th haha.

Like the LG EnV Pro and arguably the Droid 2 Global.

Guys its safe to say nothing is going to come out today or anytime until Verizon feels they want to. Its going on 8PM on the east coast. We should just chalk it up to a mistake and move on, everyone makes them. So until info is released then live by Carpe Diem and do what is best for you today. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get the MyTouch 4g. Same specs but faster, and a cheaper phone plan.

If the Dinc HD is close to the specs that we all believe then they have to release it soon. CES is in January. There is no way they would release the Dinc HD after CES if its non LTE. CES is when they are gonna show case all things LTE and Dual Processors. It just makes sense that they start selling right around Black Friday and the Holiday season. It all adds up. The excessive Dinc commericals, BOGO promo, and now a price slash (down to $149).

Droid Life is reporting that non of their contacts have seen or even heard of such a device, and they claim if it were true, it definitely will NOT be a Droid.

I'm sticking with Miami at this point for a late Nov launch and he confirmed that it is in fact a Droid.

ok guys i just talked to a good buddy of mine at our local vzw shop before they closed and he said other than the basic devices that we know about,, merge, samsung galaxy s,so on.. he hasnt heard of nothing then i asked him about this device or a similar htc device with a screen over 4" and he said nope that he would recommend the x or fascinate or wait till duel core. i know for a fact he is telling me the truth so idk what to think now

Mytouch has those buttons, so does Galaxy S, so does G2.... none of them are "droids"... only the Eris, D1, DX, D2, and Incredible are "droids".

I think people are mixing/confusing the terms "Droid" and "Android". Droid is Verizon's branding for certain Android phones. For instance the Samsung Fascinate is an Android phone but is not part of their "Droid" lineup.

i hold my guy to a little higher standerd than street store owners just sayin... but we will see it could be a unknown unknown lol..but if he hasnt heard about it i dont think any vzw store would know about it u know what i mean.. miami is the only one that can straighten this out and he is no where to be found

I just got back from the Tmo store and all I have to say is :icon_eek: the MyTouch4g is a Beast! I'm thoroughly impressed by that device. HTC has outdone themselves with that thing. The screen size is awesome, you can really tell a difference just by 1/10 of an inch from the Dinc or G2. I was playing with the G2 and the screen is beautiful but kind of small. It also had a very loose hinge. But the MT4G is smooth and very very fast. It just feels awesome in my hand, very sturdy! It actually feels like it is worth something. The rep brought out a white phone and it looked great.

Now if the DincHD is basically a bigger version of this thing, then it will be the premier phone out when it drops. But to be honest, the screen and form factor of the MT4G was just about perfect.

You should know by now, the store reps at Verizon are the LAST people you talk to about anything. These are the same people still recommending Advanced Task Killers to be installed on phones and now you want to believe them? ROFL

You should know by now, the store reps at Verizon are the LAST people you talk to about anything. These are the same people still recommending Advanced Task Killers to be installed on phones and now you want to believe them? ROFL
